A little bit about the person this scholarship is named for….
Paige was a 2009 graduate of Turpin High School and went on to graduate from Miami University’s Farmer School of Business in 2013. Following her college graduation, she had a successful career at Cincinnati-based Unlimited Systems – a healthcare administration software company. As the owner of the company described her, “Paige was the heartbeat of our company. All of our clients knew her, and both clients and fellow employees always commented on her positive attitude and amazing smile.”
Tragically, Paige lost her life in 2020 at the young age of 29 due to a sudden blood clot condition. Paige was well known for her love of church, family, friends, and her relentless commitment to high morals and character. She was the friend others could truly count on. Paige felt strongly that people of character and faith needed to “show their light” in their community by being an integral part of it – not staying in their “safe spaces” where only faith-based people congregated. The Paige Roberts Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to not only carry on her legacy of love for people of all faiths but actively show that love by helping others in meaningful ways. Even in death, her desire to help others lives on through this scholarship.
Jesus said, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven”. Matthew 5:16 NIV
Paige’s journal comment, ‘Serving the Lord is not a one-time event; it’s a day-to-day commitment lived out in the choices we make‘.
This scholarship is in loving memory of Paige who is remembered by her faith, joy, and light for Christ.
